Vintage Bell & Howell Model 254R 8mm silent home movie projector manufactured in Chicago, Illinois. This classic mid-century projector features a durable textured gray/tan wrinkle-finish metal body and includes its original removable hard-shell protective cover, original power cord, and one aluminum take-up reel as shown.

The original identification plate remains intact and legible, displaying the Model 254R designation and Serial No. AJ87161. Controls include the Lamp/Motor/Off switch and manual framer adjustment. The projector appears to be substantially complete externally and retains its original lens assembly.

This projector was acquired from an estate and has not been tested. It is being sold as found for restoration, parts, display, or collection. The mechanical controls move freely, but no attempt has been made to verify operation with power or film.

Overall cosmetic condition is very good for its age, with light scuffs, minor finish wear, and typical signs of long-term storage.
